Digging Deeper into Deuteronomy

This course is for anyone who wants to dig into the biblical text at a deeper level than is usually possible on a typical Sunday morning. It is intended to be accessible and useful to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Bible. Those who preach will find it especially helpful. Our first series will begin on Wednesday 17th April and is entitled “Digging Deeper into Deuteronomy,” looking at one of the books most often quoted by Jesus and the writers of the New Testament.

The course is spread across 6-weeks with five sessions giving an overview of the message of the book as a whole, and a detailed study of selected passages. The penultimate session offers a space for optional guided reading and reflection. All sessions will include some times for small group discussion and Q & A, and will grapple seriously with the question of how the book of Deuteronomy might speak to us today.
